My name is Nomsa Dlamini, and I am a single mother raising my children on my own. Every day, I work as hard as I can — long hours for very little pay — just to keep food on the table. Still, most days my children survive only on cassava and boiled vegetable leaves. It is all I can manage to give them, and even then, it barely keeps them from going hungry.

I try to stay strong for my children, but deep inside, I often feel powerless. No matter how much I sacrifice, what I can provide is never enough. As they grow older, their needs grow too. More than anything, I want them to have an education, because I know it is the only path to a better future. But with our current struggles, I cannot afford school fees, supplies, or even proper clothes for them to attend.

Every night, I pray for a way forward — for the chance to give my children the life they deserve. It is with deep sadness and humility that I ask for help. This is not easy for me, but I have no other choice.
