Hi, my name is Cheri, and I live in Alabama. I’m a mother of two young children and a working professional with a deep commitment to humanitarian causes. I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of a Palestinian father named Mahmoud Raafat Jabr Salameh, and his two daughters, Celine and Sila, who have been displaced multiple times due to the ongoing war in Gaza.

Who this is for and how I know them:

I have been in direct communication with Mahmoud for several months. We connected through humanitarian advocacy, and since then, I’ve stayed in regular contact with him through WhatsApp. He shares updates, photos, and videos of his children and their living conditions. From everything I’ve seen and heard, Mahmoud is a loving and dedicated father doing everything he can to keep his daughters safe under unimaginable circumstances.

Where they are:

Mahmoud and his daughters are currently displaced inside Gaza. They have lost their home and access to basic services. Clean water, food, and shelter are hard to come by, and medical care is extremely limited.

How the funds will be used:

All funds raised will go directly toward:
• Rent or shelter
• Food and clean drinking water
• Clothes and shoes for the girls
• Basic medical needs
• Emergency expenses (especially as conditions worsen)

How the funds will reach him:

Once funds are withdrawn, I will send them directly to Mahmoud’s Bank of Palestine account. I’ve done this before successfully and keep full records of every transfer for transparency. I do not receive any portion of the donations, nor do I profit in any way from this fundraiser.

Transparency and compliance:

This fundraiser is strictly humanitarian. I confirm that none of the funds will be used for weapons, propaganda, political activity, or anything related to armed conflict. The sole purpose of this campaign is to support the survival and well-being of a father and his two young children.
