Help Sadie the Sable Shepherd

This week flipped upside down in a heartbeat. One moment, everything was normal. The next, I found multiple growths on Sadie’s hind leg — including one our vet had seen before and wasn’t worried about, but that suddenly changed shape size and color almost overnight.

Two more spots or growths have now appeared nearby just as suddenly . For the most part Sadie is her usual energetic self but I’ve recently noticed she’s trying not to run as much which is her whole life. Hopefully, that’s just a coincidence and maybe they will just be benign growths but with the sudden changes mean we’re moving fast. Her urgent appointment is set for Tuesday but we may be able to get her in Monday for diagnostic testing and biopsy and to make a surgery plan right away if necessary.

On top of this, we just sank our savings into an extensive emergency home repair. Now, with Sadie’s medical costs coming at us suddenly, the only option left would be going into credit card debt — and that’s why I’m reaching out to her community for help.

Our initial goal will cover urgent testing and surgery, but if Sadie needs more extensive treatment, I’ll update the goal so we can act immediately without losing time.
